Netflix just struck a deal with Lions Gate Entertainment to carry the hit AMC cable show “Mad Men.” The price tag: almost $1 million per episode. Do we need any more evidence that in the three-way battle for the gravy from video streaming, among aggregators like Netflix, content producers like Lions Gate and Internet service providers like AT&T and Comcast, content is gaining the upper hand? Kinda makes net neutrality rules beside the point.
